Inside a nation of overflowing abundance, it is difficult to imagine the hundreds of thousands who struggle to survive, silently suffering below the poverty level of third-world countries. Yet an epic and often invisible battle is being fought by the poor to fend off the grip of poverty. Neglected by society and virtually unnoticed by the Church, their cry has reached our heart.
Sometimes we don’t see our neighbor’s need because we don’t take the time to look. But when we see—truly see—with the eyes of our heart, there lies with us a responsibility to our brother and an accountability to our God. What we do unto the least of these, we do unto Him. Jesus looked. And when He did, He saw the multitudes with the Father’s heart. What He saw moved Him with compassion to act. We too have seen, and are moved to extend Heaven’s heart through humanity’s hand. Our mission is to clothe and feed those in desperate need of basic necessities.
We invite you to join us. Nothing satisfies like giving from your heart without the expectation of recognition or a monetary return, to give and not let the left hand know what the right hand is doing. We can be so caught up in the Spirit of love that Christ’s compassion and unbridled love move us to act as a catalyst for change in the life of our neighbor. Help bring change, hope, and love to the suffering of America: invest in the Homeland today!
Here is how you and your church can be a part of our food and clothing outreach to the urban and rural poor of America:
