AND JESUS SAID YES

It is a privilege to share the miracle of Theo McCathern with you. Theo was tucked away in the back of a meeting some years ago in Watertown, TN.  I did not notice him anymore than the other children who attended the miracle services, yet after I gave the altar call, and as I asked for those who needed to experience God’s miraculous touch, I could see something was desperately wrong. His mother walked the aisle and brought Theo to me. He could not focus, he looked dazed, his mind was elsewhere.  Sadly, this precious little boy suffered from Autism. Autism is a disease that presently can only be treated, not cured. Aren’t you glad that what limits the ability of man does not hinder the will of God?

The mother brought the child forward and asked for her needs to be met while we both basked in the tangible presence of God. I took the child in my arms and whispered a simple authoritative prayer to my Father. I did what I knew to do, and handed the child seemingly unchanged to an expectant mother. Beloved God is so good!

Several years passed and I occasionally thought of the state of that mother and her dear suffering son. I am happy to share with you that recently on a trip back to Lebanon, TN, I met a tall strapping young man looking nothing like his former self. He was healed - one of the few I am aware of that has been set free from the misery of Autism. Theo is excelling in school and has been completely healed by the power of God. Glory to His Name Alone! I was so overwhelmed by this beautiful demonstration of God’s love; I want to encourage you today to keep pressing ahead in your faith. We are standing with you, and refuse for you to be defeated.
